How To Enable BitLocker In Windows 10

In this article of "How To Enable BitLocker In Windows 10" i will tell you how you can set password or encrypt any hard drive in windows 10 so that no one can open that hard drive without your permission or password. 

Windows 10 give you an built-in option called "Bitlocker" through which you can protect your any hard drive or usb flash drive.

                                

Steps to Enable Bitlocker on any hard drive in Windows 10:

Step 1: Just go to any hard drive on which you want to encrypt or set password, right click on it and               select "Turn On Bitlocker" option.

                                

Step 2: First check "Use a password to unlock this drive" checkbox, then type your Password and                   click on "Next" button. 

                               

Step 3: Now if you forget your password then you can open encrypted drive with the help of                          "Recovery Key". So you must save your Recovery Key at save place.

                                 
Click on the place / Option where you want to save recovery key. I am saving my recovery key in my USB flash drive.
Note : First Plug-in your USB flash drive.

                               

                               


                              

Step 4: Select the any encryption option which you want and click on "Next" button.

                             

Step 5: Now select any encryption mode which you want and click on "Next" button.

                             

Step 6: In the last just click on "Start Encryption" button. This will start encryption process.

                             

                            


                           

Once encryption process ends after restarting your computer your encrypted hard drive is locked and you must need right password to unlock it.
